OPINION (ETH) – One Bible scholar is warning that the time of the end will be preceded by what is known as “the Rapture”, according to scripture in the Holy Bible. Many Christians believe the end of the world will be marked by various cataclysmic events, such as war and natural disasters but before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, scripture says the Antichrist will rise to power and deceive the world during a period known as the Tribulation.
But before this takes place, a biblical scholar and professor known as The Bible Memory Man, told Express the Rapture will take place first. According to the report. Professor Tom Meyer, who has memorized more than 20 books from the Bible, stated that the Rapture, which is the first event that will kick off the beginning of the end, has no signs that precede it.
“It is imminent and can happen at any second. “It is true that Christ gave a chronological order of end-times events, or signs of the times, for the seven-year tribulation, also called the 70th week of Daniel, but these events do not begin until sometime after the Rapture of Christians,” Meyer says that during the Rapture, Jesus Christ will appear in the heavens but he will not yet descend to the Earth.
Professor Meyer went on to state that Christ will take all of those who have died in Christ with him to heaven. Living Christians will then be snatched or carried to the heavens in the blink of an eye. However, the Bible does not specify when this event will occur. Neither does the Bible specify how much time will pass between the Rapture and the Tribulation.
“For the Lord, Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” – Thessalonians 4:16-17
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“At the last trumpet” per the 1st corinthians verse….the trumpets preceeding the last trumpet bring some pretty horrible things.
That is not the original words. They removed the word ” Last” that was before the word Trump. Which means according to original wording of the Bible the raptures occures at the 7th trump. Which is the last trump. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed KJV
It will not be the last 7th trump of the trumpet judgements. It’s the last trump of the grace period. same as the trumpet that blew on Mt. Sinai.
Well done, Dawn. That one little word causes one rapture view some real problems. It is disturbing that a “Bible Scholar” would misrepresent the message by omitting an important word that I find in every English Bible I have access to. Thank you for staying sharp.
I can’t believe it were watching the end of time take place in front of our eyes Australia wild fires, African Locust plague , earthquakes, covid19
To put further emphasis on the rapture 2 Thess 2:7,8 teaches us before the Anti-Christ can be revealed the church is raptured. For those of you that reject the word rapture for whatever ridiculous reason read the following, which is saying the same thing but uses different wording.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 (KJV) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (raptured church that is further signified by the elders who are representative of the church around the throne). And then shall that Wicked (Anti-Christ) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
The trumpet mentioned here does not refer to the Trumpet judgments of Revelation. It is the trumpet announcement of the Rapture of the believers. The Apostle Paul had taught the eminent rapture of the believers so successfully that they fully expected it to happen in their lifetime, (and thus no time at that point for the Great Tribultation) that he wrote the books of !st and 2nd Thessalonians to comfort them that they had indeed NOT missed out somehow on the Rapture and that there were certain things that had to happen before the Great Tribulation (Day of the Lord) would kick in.

Folks, there is no rapture. The word is not in the Bible. Today’s Christian is not worthy to be taken before the Tribulation. There is only five month period for the Tribulation, as God changed the time for the elects sake. God allows Satan as the Antichrist, to test their faithfulness to the True Christ. Satan comes in peace and prosperity, to deceive all the Christian Virgins, who have not the knowledge. God says that His People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Christianity, is full of Traditions, and traditions are the enemy of God. So Satan comes to help the hundreds of Denominations to be even more confused. These Christians who populate the wide path, will become members of Mystery Babylon (confusion). These are the ones who pray for the mountains to cover them, because they are so ashamed to meet Christ.
How to become a christian. Admit a sinner. Ask Jesus to save you. God now lives inside you and will help you with the rest.
