(OPINION) A lot of very unusual things are happening in the heavens this month. I have been writing a lot about the Great American Eclipse on April 8th, but today I wanted to talk about another extraordinary event that will happen this week.

On the 4th day of the 4th month of 2024, there will be a “planetary alignment” that involves 4 planets. Looking out from our planet, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Neptune will all appear to be aligned behind one another in the sky. It is being reported that you will actually be able to see Venus, Mars and Saturn with the naked eye…

The next planetary alignment takes place on April 4, 2024. It will feature four planets – Venus, Neptune, Saturn, and Mars. The planets will align in the morning sky.

Venus, Saturn, and Mars will be visible to the naked eye, but you’ll need a telescope or high-powered binoculars to see Neptune. Let’s take a closer look at the conditions for observing the planets.

Is it just a coincidence that 4 planets will be aligned on the 4th day of the 4th month of 2024 just 4 days before the Great American Eclipse of 2024?

If so, that is one heck of a coincidence. This planetary alignment is different from the “line in the sky” that we will witness on April 8th.

According to astronomy.com, a “planetary alignment” is also known as a “conjunction”, and it is simply “a celestial event wherein multiple planets appear close together in the sky from our perspective on Earth”…

First, let’s clear up a common misconception. When we talk about “planetary alignment,” we’re not suggesting that the planets line up in a perfect straight line in space. Rather, we are usually referring to a celestial event wherein multiple planets appear close together in the sky from our perspective on Earth. This phenomenon is known as a “conjunction.”

The alignments we see from Earth are based on our line of sight. For instance, even if Mars and Venus appear close in the sky, they might still be separated by millions of miles in space. It’s like standing on a hill and seeing two distant trees appear close together, even if they’re far apart on the landscape.

What we are going to witness on April 8th is not a “planetary alignment”, because planets will not appear to be lined up behind one another as we look out into space from our planet.

Instead, on April 8th the sun, the moon and the seven other planets in our solar system will all appear to be “lined up” in the night sky as we look up into space…

If you’re in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico, get ready for an amazing sky show on April 8, 2024. On that day, there will be a total solar eclipse, which is a big deal in itself. But there’s more – when it gets dark during the day, you’ll also see all the planets aligned in the sky! Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus will be lined up along with the eclipsed Sun.

In addition, there’s also a chance that you can see comet 12P/Pons-Brooks nearby with your own eyes! This will be one of the biggest celestial events of 2024, so don’t miss it!

Yesterday, I shared a graphic of this spectacular event that had been posted on Reddit, and I will share it again in this article for those that have not seen it yet…(READ MORE)
