(ETH) – Tropical Storm Bertha has quickly formed off the coast of South Carolina and will likely track inland through North Carolina and Virginia with potentially flooding rainfall according to a report from the Weather Channel. The tropical storm is reportedly centered 30 miles east-southeast of Charleston, South Carolina, and is moving northwest at 9 mph.

The report states that it will likely make landfall in the next few hours and quickly weaken to a tropical depression and a remnant low as it moves toward North Carolina and western Virginia through this evening. Though the storm is weakening, Bertha is set to bring soaking rainfall and possible flooding into parts of the Carolinas and Virginia through Wednesday night along with Gusty winds that will also accompany her as it moves inland.
