(SF Gate) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 struck 150 miles off the Northern California coast Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. There is no tsunami danger from this earthquake.

The quake hit near Ferndale, Calif., at 7:06 a.m. local time at a depth of 12 kilometers. The epicenter was about 160 miles from Eureka and Arcata.
