Magnitude 4.5 earthquakes strike Baja, CA, Felt across San Diego

(Fox 5) – An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 was felt across San Diego Saturday morning, the US Geological Survey reports. The temblor’s epicenter was in Baja California, around 40 miles northeast of Camalu, Mexico, which is a four hour drive from Tijuana. The earthquake was about 10 miles deep and struck around 7:40 a.m.

The quake was felt in various portions of Baja California and across San Diego County, according to reports on the USGS “Did You Feel It?” map. Residents of El Cajon, Spring Valley, San Diego, Jacumba Hot Springs all reported shaking. READ MORE
