We are receiving reports of a strong earthquake measuring 6.4 that has struck Bali. Sources indicate that Quake shook up the resort island but did not trigger any tsunami warnings.  The Quake was reported shortly after 110 amEST. Eyewitnesses reported feeling a strong shaking that lasted over 20 seconds.

The strong quake was reportedly felt by up to 3 million people on and around the island.  Preliminary reports from the US Geological Service’s automated assessment places the risk of fatalities and economic loss as being low.
