A massive manhunt is underway for three gunmen in Munich Friday night after what is now believed to be another “terror attack” on a city shopping mall that has left at least nine people dead and an unknown number injured according to the latest reports. A Police spokesman named Peter Beck told reporters, “there are shooters on the run who are dangerous.”
He added that the gunmen were armed with rifles and that Islamist terrorism was not suspected as a motive. However according to eyewitnesses to the shooting, The gunmen began shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ when he opened fire at McDonald’s before rampaging through a shopping mall. The police are warning people to stay in their homes and avoid public spaces as authorities continue to search for the possibility of multiple gunmen.
This attack follows the recent attack days ago where an Afghan man shouting “Allahu Akbar”attacked more than 20 people using an axe on a train in Germany near the city of Wurzburg. ISIS later released a video stating he would attack the country in revenge for airstrikes against the terror group. The attacker, Muhammad Riyad, was gunned down by armed police.
