Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is strengthening ties with Russia, while Washington’s influence in the Middle East is waning. On Tuesday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Moscow to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin and to celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations between the countries.

It is Netanyahu’s fourth face-to-face meeting with the Russian President in less than a year. For comparison’s sake, the Israeli Prime Minister has met US President Obama only once in the last year.
