American Gods debuted its first version of Jesus in a recent episode, depicting the Son of God walking on water to save Mexican immigrants. Part of me feels this is wrong, yet part of me is okay with it. The only reason I am okay with it is because it is only another End Times prophecy come true before our eyes. For people who are shocked or sickened by this and are angry with the “writers and producers” of this show (and by the way, they do not likely read the inane comments on this little known website) it is sad that you do not seem to have an understanding of the word of God. Especially the parts that tell us there will be mockers and scoffers in these times. This is nothing more than a television program.
The people that watch modern day television have proven to have either very low intelligence, very low self-esteem, or not much of a life outside of the few feet between themselves and their television. Americans seem to struggle to live life WITHOUT television, seemingly making television their god. Time to change that pathetic part of your life. Grow up and realize that their is much more to life than television, regardless of what programming is on.
