Singers Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon enjoyed a whirlwind romance and immediately tied the knot after only two months of dating. Their six-year marriage eventually ended in December 2014 and their divorce was finalised this year. Nevertheless, Carey and Cannon remain on good terms. Cannon even talked about his past marriage during a guest appearance on The Breakfast Club. When asked if they waited until marriage to have sex, Cannon answered “absolutely.”
“We were both on the same page because I was in a place where I was being celibate at the time, and I think that’s one of the ways that we bonded for the first time,” Cannon said. He admitted that a lot of people have wondered how they could have gotten married so fast, but back then, the TV host and rapper said it seemed like marriage was the only direction to take.
