Wisconsin’s governor on July 12, 2016, declared a state of emergency for eight counties following flooding brought on by storms Monday. Flooding is blamed on at least two deaths, washing out roads and highways, and overflowing rivers.

The two deceded people drowned in flash flooding and after driving into a water-filled ditch, respectively. The city of Ashland was cut off to road traffic after roads and highways were washed out. READ MORE
