Lynette Hardaway, known by millions of conservatives as ‘Diamond,’ has died. “The world just lost a true angel and warrior patriot for freedom, love and humanity,” read a message posted on the Diamond and Silk Twitter page. “Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family.”

Diamond and Silk were regulars on my national radio show for the past three years. I grew to love these two ladies like they were family. There was always lots of laughter and joy on my show when they appeared. And we always found a way to steer the conversation back to our shared Southern heritage.

Former President Trump was among those expressing sorrow in her sudden passing. “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly all Americans,” Trump wrote. “Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk has just passed away at her home in the state she loved so much – North Carolina.”

There’s no word on the cause of death, but several weeks ago Silk posted a cryptic message urging immediate prayers for her sister. “Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing,” Trump wrote. “There was no better team anywhere, or at any time.”

Trump said Diamond’s death was “totally unexpected.” “Probably her big and precious heart just plain gave out,” he wrote. “Rest in peace our magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed.” (SOURCE)
