(ETH) – A swarm of earthquakes has reportedly rattled the south Los Angeles County community of Lennox on early Monday morning, producing the largest of the swarm measuring a 4.0-magnitude that was reportedly felt across L.A. and Orange counties.

According to CBS Los Angeles, The larger quake took place at approximately 4:44 a.m., with its epicenter at Century Boulevard and Doty Avenue, north of the 105 Freeway and east of the 405 Freeway with the USGS reporting a depth of 12.3 miles.

The larger quake was even felt as far north as Lancaster and as far south as San Juan Capistrano. The largest of the swarm was then preceded by a magnitude 3.3 that struck at 4:15 a.m. and also occurred in Lennox, about a half-mile from the larger quake,

with the epicenter at West 104th Street and Dixon Avenue. Seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones took to Twitter and tweeted that the 4.0-magnitude quake was “not probably on any mapped fault.”
