Freak Hailstorm and Apocalyptic dust storm blocks out the sun in Australia

(OPINION) Ricky Scaparo – While Australia is still trying to recover from catastrophic damage inflicted by the latest deadly brushfires to ravage the nation killing nearly a billion animals, An apocalyptic dust storm and freak hailstorm have now been reported in the latest disaster to strike the country.

Australia was given a short reprieve with rain sweeping across the country but that didn’t last long as the next wave of extreme weather came resulting in gigantic hailstorms and a mass fish die-off from the massive rainfall that swept much ash into the water. Now footage has emerged of a terrifyingly huge dust storm engulfing the region. A local resident, Jason Herbig captured video from his farm in New South Wales which shows the wall of dust stretching out as far as the eye can see on the horizon.

The massive dust storm is seen completely blocking out the sun and Jason is even forced to turn on his car’s headlights to see – despite it being the middle of the day. Many took to Twitter to comment about the video. one said “Wow,” one wrote, before adding: “That looks like something straight out of a Tom Cruise horror sci-fi movie.” Another commented: “So we have had fires, floods, thunder and lightning, hail. Frankly, I was expecting a locust plague next but it turns out I forgot about sand storm.”
