OPINION (Todd Starnes) – Democratic Presidental candidate Beto O’Rourke, told a cheering crowd at a CNN Town Hall that he would revoke the tax-exempt status of any church or Christian college or charity that opposes same-sex marriage. CNN’s Don Lemon asked O’Rourke point-blank whether religious institutions should lose their tax-exempt status.
“Yes,” the Democrat presidential candidate said to cheers from the intolerant crowd. There can be no reward no benefit no tax break for anyone or any institution – any organization in America that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us.” O’Rourke vowed to make that a priority of his administration. Then I must reply that you I and others vow to make sure you are not nominated and if you are do not win the presidency. Many of us do not agree with same-sex marriages which is our right to disagree. It seems ironic that churches, colleges and charities that were for same-sex marriages in the past were not punished in any way. If you become president it is clear you will demand acceptance of your view in spite of it being against many of their religious beliefs, as well as, revoke their tax-exempt status. Thus punishment for non-compliance without consideration for those whom disagree. There is no punishment for clinics that don’t offer abortion services even though it is legal, why not also punish them along with any and all others who disagree with your ideals. Then we will truly be a socialistic/communistic country demanding compliance or penalizing and criminalizing them out of existence.
I’ll hand you mine now— cause I’m going with the Word of God every time– pass all the laws you want–
Everything is going down except the Word of God!!
