Earthquake activity has erupted in the Indian Ocean pushing tectonic plates violently around. Three large plates which meet at the Indian Ocean Triple Junction have clashed in the area have generated two massive earthquakes. The Indian Ocean is at the mercy of tectonic activity this morning, causing three bordering plates to slam into each other, and earthquakes are piling up.

Tremors have been felt around the Pacific Ring of Fire – the area home to most of the world’s earthquakes and major volcanoes. More than 20 medium range magnitude tremors have already today, as well as a number of large earthquakes.
