(by Kelly McDonald, Jr) According to a report by Fox News, the US is sending an additional 200 troops to the Middle East. The goal of their mission will be to help with security in Iraq and Syria. Their exact location has not been determined. Military sources expect as much as 1,000 more US troops to help stabilize the area.
The US troops already in the region are providing artillery and air support, especially in the fight for Mosul. The fight against ISIS to retake the city of Mosul has drug on for more than five months. The US has also been involved in other attacks against the terrorist state, including attacks near the ISIS capital of Raqqa in Syria.
