Reports indicate that overnight a strong and shallow magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck near Alaska’s Aleutian Islands at according to the USGS.
Reports indicated that the quake had a depth of 10 km or (6.2 miles). The epicenter was reported 66 km (41 miles) West of Navy Town, Alaska and 831 km (516.5 miles) ESE of Klyuchi, Russia.

I have spent most of my sixty years in the desert, and the last 7 years walking the Southern California Desert writing on The New Man. I am well aware of the habits of the desert creatures here, this winter they all came out to play in the freezing cold! My guess, and only a guess, magma is rising under the desert floor and the heat triggered the creatures. If this is the case everyone here should pray & buckle up for the ride, and everyone else should pray. Some may think they simply came out early because they were hungry, been walking these deserts for decades and have never once seen the creatures do this.
