Two colossal Atlantic storms are on course to smash into each other – forming the PERFECT STORM – before ripping into Britain next week sparking severe gales and torrential rain. Weathermen forecast 70mph winds in parts of the north by Tuesday with damaging gusts likely elsewhere. The systems – Karl and Lisa – are currently charging across the Atlantic and are expected to reach storm-force in the next day or so.

Unusually they will merge over the weekend – just like in hit film ‘The Perfect Storm’ – before tracking northeastwards on a DIRECT path towards Britain.
