Petawawa soldiers to leave for Poland for NATO training

It appears that Military Training and Movement is picking up pace around the World! Are we on the verge of a great Military conflict? Approximately 125 soldiers from 3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment (3 RCR) will leave Petawawa, Ontario, on Monday to take part in an Operation Reassurance deployment. The soldiers will be heading to Poland for three months as part of the NATO training. The 3 RCR contingent is a part of 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group, based in Garrison Petawawa, Ontario. Operation REASSURANCE refers to the military activities undertaken by the Canadian Forces to support NATO reassurance measures through the provision of military capabilities for training, exercises, demonstrations and assigned NATO tasks.
