Reports coming out of South Africa are indicating that a tornado ripped through Gauteng, northeast of OR Tambo International Airport producing damage to buildings and injuring people in Tembisa, near Johannesburg. The tornado was accompanied by large hail stones and heavy winds that even damaged a hospital.

Excerpt From Strange Sounds:
Up to 20 people were injured and were taken to hospitals after a strong twister swept through Tembisa, South Africa. The intense winds and large hail destroyed the roof of Phumlani Tembisa, local shopping center. Some of the victims had to be pulled out from under the rubble of the destroyed building. The city hospital was also heavily damaged, but none of the patients and hospital workers have been injured.
