Evangelical Christian leaders have criticised as “a source of deep disquiet” new plans for prayers for gay and lesbian couples. Bishops in the Church in Wales have circulated a pastoral letter “to all the faithful” concerning gay and lesbian Christians. It follows an 18-month consultation in Wales on whether it would be “appropriate” to acknowledge same sex unions in Church through a blessing or even marriage.
“Given that the civil law of the realm has now been changed to permit marriage of same sex couples, many see this as a natural next step,” says the letter. It became clear that although a majority of members supported change, there was no consensus and any move to change would not secure the two-thirds majority needed from the Church’s governing body. Christians who believe that they have the right to forever pass judgement on others who are different need to wake up. The message of Maryah Yeshua Meshiach was simple but very relevant still to this day. “Follow Me” He says, which means that we should speak as He did and do what He did. No compromise, non negotiable. So when He says in Mattityahu 5:44 “Love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you”, it must be done without murmur. I am not a fan of Homosexuals and I am not one myself but I know what it is like to be treated as an outcast because I do no go with the flow but am up-stream. The burden one carry because of being different is a yolk that can easily choke life out of a person and when Maryah Yeshua Meshiach extends and invitation to wear His yolk because it is light and outcast people embrace it what authority do you have as a Christian to stand in judgement. That job I believe is reserved for Allaha Father. In the current climate we live in a very urgent in-house inspection of the Soul is needed. Praying for the enemy that you as a Christian is threatened by does not condemn you to hell.
you’re wrong my brother. when Christ met Mary Magdalene she never remained a prostitute, when He met Zechariah he never remained a thief. They all repented and turned around. Gays and lesbians should change once they meet Christ, if they don’t, it man’s they are not converted and have no desire to change their ways. They are then excommunicated.
Love ain’t compromising, Love is corrective.
