3 Blood Moons are coming this year that are all appearing around major days on the Hebrew calendar

(OPINION) Throughout history, celestial phenomena have fascinated humanity, often viewed as signs of divine communication. Among these phenomena, the “blood moon,” a total lunar eclipse in which the moon takes on a reddish hue, has captured significant attention.

Within Jewish and Christian traditions, many rabbis and scholars have linked blood moons falling on Jewish feast days to significant events in Jewish history and as harbingers of divine intervention or major shifts in world events.

When these blood moons coincide with Jewish feast days, many consider them significant, often pointing to biblical passages such as
Joel 2:31: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.”

When blood moons fall on these dates, some rabbis and scholars interpret them as divine messages, signaling significant events related to the Jewish people or the world.

Proponents of the “blood moon prophecy” point to patterns in history where tetrads (four consecutive blood moons) coincided with Jewish feast days and monumental events:

1. 1493–1494: A tetrad occurred shortly after the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, a traumatic yet transformative moment in Jewish history.

2. 1949–1950: This tetrad followed the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, marking the Jewish people’s return to their homeland after nearly 2,000 years.

3. 1967–1968: Blood moons during this period coincided with the Six-Day War, when Israel regained control of Jerusalem.

These alignments have led many to view such events as divine markers highlighting significant milestones in Jewish history.
Many rabbis believe blood moons on feast days are warnings or harbingers of major changes. For example:

•Judgment and Redemption: Blood moons may symbolize judgment for nations or peoples who oppose God’s covenant with Israel. Conversely, they can signify redemption for the Jewish people, affirming God’s promises.

•Prophetic Fulfillment: Some interpret blood moons as signs of prophetic fulfillment, connecting them to Messianic expectations or the coming of the “Day of the Lord.”

These interpretations often draw on a blend of biblical prophecy, rabbinical tradition, and historical precedent.

Some remarkable celestial signs will be on display in the coming months that may hold prophetic significance for our world. This series of four heavenly phenomena includes three lunar events, two of which could represent a possible direct message about Israel.

It all kicks off with a total lunar eclipse known as a “blood moon” that will appear over the U.S. on March 14, 2025. This particular one will fall directly on the Jewish holiday of Purim.

That’s when the Jewish people celebrate the biblical account of Esther when they were delivered from annihilation at the hands of an enemy named Haman in the Persian empire, which is modern-day Iran.

According to CBN News, That first lunar eclipse will be followed by two more blood moons, with one coming this fall before Rosh Hashanah, and then the third one ALSO falling directly on Purim on March 3, 2026.

Bible prophecy experts say lunar eclipses known as “blood moons” are tied to events that affect Israel. And with antisemitism spiking around the globe, the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza, and the massive Middle East shifts that have followed the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, the two Purim blood moons could hold special significance.

Israel is also facing a new era of uncertainty now that its neighbor Syria has fallen into the hands of rebels with ties to Al Qaeda as well as Turkey.

And some are concerned that Iran could find a way to lash out after seeing its proxy terrorist armies of Hamas and Hezbollah being destroyed by Israel.

It’s why Israel may feel compelled to act swiftly as rumors abound that Iran is close to completing a nuclear weapon that could be deployed against the Jewish state.
