The Jupiter Police Department in Florida arrested Michael M. Wiseman on Friday for making threats on social media towards former President Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance.
Wiseman is facing charges of Written Threats to Kill for the threats he allegedly made on his Facebook account. The police received multiple tips about Wiseman’s comments and concern from residents.
According to detectives, Wiseman made multiple threats against Trump and Vance, including threats of bodily harm to their families. The Jupiter Police Department worked with the U.S. Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office during their investigation.
This incident occurred less than a week after an assassination attempt against Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, resulting in injuries to the former president and the death of one person attending the rally.
