(ETH) – Sources indicate Long-range missiles from Iran has come down with impacts dangerously close to a commercial ship in the Indian Ocean.

The incident also took place within 100 miles from the Nimitz aircraft carrier strike group, According to the report from Fox News, at least one of the missiles landed within 20 miles from the commercial vessel without providing more specifics about the ship, citing privacy concerns.

The incident is concerning to U.S. Navy officials, as the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier strike group was reportedly also in the vicinity — roughly 100 miles away — from two Iranian ballistic missiles exploding on impact when they struck the ocean, sending shards of debris in all directions.
