(ETH) – NASA has revealed that seven asteroids are set to blast past the planet this week. This comes as experts in astronomy have reportedly collected a wide range of the total number of asteroids set to make what is known as “Earth close approaches”.

The data reveals that this week alone, a total of seven ‘Near Earth Objects’ will buzz past planet earth – the largest of these asteroids is up to 88-meters in size. According to Express, The first of these seven asteroids to enter this trajectory this week is named 2020 RV2 and will be at its closest tonight, at 10.56 pm PT (6.56 am October 6).

Another Asteroid 2020 RK2 will make a close approach at 1.12 pm on October 7th followed by another asteroid that will pass Earth at its closest point at 23.23 pm on October 7 – only seven hours after 2020 RK2.
