Magnitude 6.0 earthquake shakes buildings in Costa Rica’s capital

(ETH) – A magnitude 6.0 earthquake reportedly struck Costa Rica’s western coast on Monday resulting in buildings being shaken in the capital of San Jose about 41 miles away.

The quake struck at a depth of 27 kilometers (17 miles) close to the coastal city of Jaco. There have been no reports of injuries or damage from the quake.
