Hurricane Rosa is set to hit Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah when it makes landfall on the US western coast on Tuesday according to the latest path tracker update – here is the latest storm forecast and what you need to know. The category 4 storm has intensified over the Pacific Ocean and is packing winds of 145mph, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). In its 10 am update, NHC warned: “Little significant change in strength is forecast today,

with gradual weakening anticipated by Saturday, and further weakening at a faster rate expected early next week.” Rosa is expected to turn northwest on Friday before moving north into Saturday and then north-northeast on Sunday. “Life-threatening surf and rip current conditions” are expected to hit southwest Mexico, the southern Baja California Peninsula and southern California by the end of this week.
