An Islamic organization founded in Washington, D.C., by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas is entering the controversy over Confederate monuments, urging all state and local governments to remove any symbols of the Civil War South. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, is offering to help facilitate the process, providing a template resolution to be introduced by public bodies such as state legislatures, city councils and school districts. You have no record other 9/11 of supposedly Muslim groups attacking America. As it is those who are alleged to have done it were said to be Saudis. So why are the Saudis still our allies. Why do we still do business there? There were millions of Muslims here and always have been, and you have no history of them attacking Americans as a group. The Nation of Islam doesn’t even carry or own weapons. There is no history of them breaking any laws. They do what Americans have a God-driven right to do, they protest and exercise their civil rights. You have no history of blacks lynching whites, bombing their churches, running them down, dragging them to death, killing their kids, running them out of neighborhoods, schools, denying them entry to voters booths, failing to hire them or give them loans because of the color of their skins or denying them jobs, or enslaving them! You do have reactionary events when in the face of an injustice done to them. This is documented fact when it comes to white Americans and the other way around. Between 1920’s t0 50s, you have upwards of 50,000 Klansmen in America and untold thousands of black people lynched and murdered for which no white was ever punished. Confederate monuments are a celebration of the oppression, enslavement of and continued mistreatment of a group of people who still suffer to this day under that ideology. You people are in denial. You are, in the words of Catherine Austin Fitts, former Commerce Secretary, “Sitting on a prime piece of real estate whose inhabitants we murdered to steal it from them.” Your history is soaked in blood and terror and you are always pointing the finger at others. You trash black “thugs and gangs” and yet YOU started it all. With men like Al Kapone, Bugsy Seagal, Dutch Schultz, Lucky Luciano and many more. YOU started the terrorism with drive by shootings (Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre, etc.) The term “terrorist” began with white Irish radicals called the IRA. Every indigenous group your race encountered suffered either extinction, colonization or mass destruction. From the Americas, to Africa and Australia, to Siberia and beyond. To justify it you claim God gave you permission. You have yet to atone for your sins while pointing out those of others. So you can’t say you are not responsible for what your ancestors did, but then turn around and protect monuments built to celebrate what they did to the innocent and defenseless people they preyed upon. Most white Christians have yet to condemn their own history of violence, oppression and brutality against people of color. Jesus did. I disagree with many things the Muslims believe theologically, being Christian. But I also disagree with what white people did in the name of the bible and God for centuries.
