Franklin Graham and his Aid Workers in South Sudan desperately need your prayers and Intercession in this hour as reports are indicating that eight local workers for a U.S. charity have been kidnapped by Rebels in that region and are reportedly demanding ransom in exchange for their freedom. This comes as food in this famine-stricken nation looks increasingly likely to be used as a weapon of war.

The reports indicate that the aid workers were taken from a village near Mayendit, about 420 miles northeast of the capital of Juba. Brigadier General Lul Ruai Koang went on to say  “The rebels attacked and abducted eight local staff from Samaritan’s Purse and they are being held to ransom. They have demanded that the organization takes aid to them,” Samaritan’s Purse was founded by evangelist Franklin Graham.
