Excerpt From CBS Pittsburg:
The reports were coming from areas west of downtown. “Around 8 p.m., we were looking up into the northern sky and saw what looked like just to be a bright, silver object in the sky, and then after we got a telescope on it, it looked like it was a clear balloon that was catching the light as it moved from west to east,” said Russ Moll, of McKees Rocks.
Google balloon. It was at 60,000 feet. I saw it from my window at 41,000. Easy to explain. ATC also had it on there scope.
Here in Prescott Arizona last night being the 4th of August north west of our home about 9pm we noticed a huge light that gained intensity and looked like it was strobing in nature with a dark center towards to putter portion it was like a sunburst. The light was very intense like a trains headlight yet even brighter. The light didn’t move anywhere. Then all of the sudden the light dimmed and faded away. Tonight there is no lights in the sky in that area. Very strange. It was intense and very beautiful. Wish I would have had my phone with me to have gotten pictures of it.
