Ray Comfort has officially announced the removal of his widely recognized television program, *Way of the Master*, from the controversial Daystar TV network, marking him as the 18th program to sever ties with the beleaguered Christian broadcasting channel.
This decision comes amid a backdrop of serious and troubling public allegations directed at Daystar.
In a formal statement released by Comfort’s ministry, Living Waters, the organization expressed its ethical concerns, stating, “In consideration of recent public allegations made against Daystar—allegations of a very serious nature—we can no longer in good conscience allow our content to remain on the network.”
Living Waters further clarified that while they do not possess the resources to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations, the gravity of the claims necessitates their withdrawal.
The ministry emphasized, “We are compelled to leave the network,” highlighting the seriousness of the situation without making direct judgments about the merits of the accusations.
The statement included an appeal to Daystar leadership urging “repentance if the allegations are true” and expressed hope that all parties involved would engage in a process of complete honesty and transparency.
This proactive stance illustrates Living Waters’ commitment to integrity in its partnerships.
This decision by Living Waters comes just three months following a groundbreaking investigative report by *The Roys Report* (TRR), which unveiled disturbing claims of a cover-up concerning child sexual abuse involving Daystar TV President Joni Lamb.
The allegations were brought forth by Lamb’s son, Jonathan Lamb, who previously served as Daystar TV Vice President, along with his wife, Suzy Lamb.
They have alleged that a family member sexually abused their daughter and that upon revealing these claims, Joni and her late husband, Marcus Lamb, allegedly suppressed the information to protect the accused individual.
Furthermore, Jonathan and Suzy Lamb have claimed that Marcus and Joni exerted pressure on Suzy to conceal her own experience of sexual assault by a chiropractor engaged by Daystar, thereby raising serious ethical concerns about the network’s internal handling of such matters.
In addition to these allegations, *The Roys Report* has published a series of investigative articles detailing accusations of financial misconduct and intimidation tactics allegedly employed by Daystar’s leadership.
There were also reports involving a secret recording that purportedly captures instances of spiritual abuse perpetrated by Joni Lamb alongside Bible teacher Jimmy Evans.
In the context of the program’s long-standing history, *Way of the Master* has been a prominent fixture on Daystar for over two decades, broadcasting to an audience in more than 190 countries worldwide.
Throughout this extensive period, Living Waters has operated under three key conditions: the assurance of not being censored, the absence of any requirement to pay for airtime, and the understanding that they would not receive financial compensation from Daystar.
This series of events has cast a shadow on Daystar TV, provoking a growing number of individuals and organizations to reevaluate their associations with the network.
Joni exerted pressure on Suzy to conceal her own experience of sexual assault by a chiropractor engaged by Daystar, thereby raising serious ethical concerns about the network’s internal handling of such matters.
So they’re doing all this over a chiropractor? Seriously?
