Attorney General Pam Bondi has accused the FBI’s New York Field Office of withholding critical documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

In a letter addressed to newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel, Bondi expressed her frustration upon discovering that, despite previous assurances, thousands of pages of pertinent files had not been disclosed to her office.

She emphasized the urgency of the matter, directing Patel to ensure the complete set of Epstein-related documents is delivered to her by 8 a.m. Friday.

This development follows Bondi’s announcement of the imminent release of “The Epstein Files: Phase 1,” a collection of documents pertaining to the late financier and convicted sex offender.

The release, scheduled for Thursday, is expected to include flight logs and names of individuals associated with Epstein.

Bondi highlighted the gravity of the contents, stating, “This will make you sick,” and noted the necessity of redacting sensitive information to protect the identities of over 200 victims involved.

However, there is skepticism regarding the potential impact of the forthcoming document release.

Sources suggest that the files may not contain significant new revelations about Epstein’s connections or activities, as much of the content has been previously available in the public domain.

Despite this, the release aims to address public interest and calls for transparency surrounding Epstein’s extensive network and alleged misconduct.

The situation has prompted bipartisan calls for a thorough investigation into the FBI’s handling of the Epstein case files.

Lawmakers emphasize the public’s right to know the full extent of Epstein’s activities and associations, urging the Department of Justice to disclose all relevant information promptly and comprehensively.
