According to the latest report, Dozens of celebrities have been forced to flee their ritzy mega-mansions in coastal Los Angeles as three raging infernos threaten to raze the city to the ground.
More than 30,000 residents evacuated their homes as a massive wildfire ripped through the celeb enclave of Pacific Palisades, burning nearly 3,000 acres and reducing dozens of homes to rubble.
Reality TV star Spencer Pratt, 41, and his wife Heidi Montag, 38, have lost their home in the ritzy neighborhood due to the raging wildfire.
Oscar-nominated actor James Woods, who shared footage of a home two blocks from his property that was completely engulfed in flames, fled the Palisades with his family as the a fast-moving wildfire tore through. He is unclear on the condition of his own property after the evacuation.
Woods also declared that he and many of his neighbors no longer have insurance after a ‘major company’ supposedly canceled many of the policies four months ago.
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill revealed he was bundled out of his Malibu home in a ‘last-minute’ evacuation on Tuesday night. He said ‘small fires’ burned on ‘both sides of the road’ as he approached the Pacific Coast Highway and called the blaze the ‘most horrific fire’ since 1993.
Police Academy star Steve Guttenberg, 66, sprung into action as the blaze ripped through the Palisades community, opting to assist firefighters by moving cars in order to make room for the incoming fire trucks.
Eugene Levy, dubbed the honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades, said he was caught in the gridlock of fleeing residents the area.
But even those who have made it to safety are now praying for a miracle, including Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone and her husband Sam Palmer who evacuated with their family.
A second blaze, dubbed the Eaton Fire, broke out some 30 miles inland in Altadena, near Pasadena, and increased in size to 1,000 acres from 200 acres in a few hours, according to Cal Fire.
Mandy Moore and her three children have evacuated their Pasadena home as the catastrophic fire continued to spread westward. The This Is Us star, 40, says the family and their pets are safe.
A third blaze named the Hurst Fire had also broken out in Sylmar, in the San Fernando Valley northwest of Los Angeles, prompting evacuations of some nearby residents.
The raging infernos are tearing through neighborhoods that dozens of A-listers call home, including Ben Affleck, Jhene Aiko, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller, and the Kardashians, among others.
Firefighters are continuing to battle the ferocious wildfires in Los Angeles suburbs, which have devoured buildings and sparked panicked evacuations as hurricane-force winds fueled rapid blaze growth.
Frightened residents abandoned their cars on one of the only roads in and out of the upscale Pacific Palisades area, fleeing on foot from the 3,000-acre inferno.
Steven Guttenberg told KTLA television that friends of his were impeded from evacuating because others had abandoned their cars in the road.
‘What’s happening is people take their keys with them as if they’re in a parking lot. This is not a parking lot. We really need people to move their cars,’ the actor, 66, said.
‘If you leave your car behind, leave the key in there so a guy like me can move your car so that these fire trucks can get up there.’
Gutenberg also leapt into action, helping firefighters by moving cars in order to make room for the incoming fire trucks.
‘It’s really important for everybody to band together and don’t worry about your personal property. Just get out.’
He added: ‘Get your loved ones and get out.’
