(OPINION) Joe Rogan revealed whether or not Donald Trump will release classified information on UFOs when he becomes president.
In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ the podcaster sat down with filmmaker James Fox to discuss government transparency around the mysterious drone sightings – that many believe to be UFOs – concentrated in New Jersey and New York.
Rogan is not optimistic that Trump will be anymore open than President Joe Biden has been about UFOs and is unsure if he will release any classified documents about them.
‘When I confronted Mr. Trump, he was very cagey, very cagey…He didn’t tell me s**t,’ Rogan said. ‘It was basically like neither confirm nor deny.
‘I think he knows something, I just don’t think he’s interested.’
Referencing a statement Trump made about the government’s knowledge of the drone sightings, Rogan said: ‘When you think of the capabilities of the United States military, it doesn’t make any sense they can’t figure out what’s going on.
‘I think what Trump said is probably correct that the government knows, they know what’s happening and they don’t want to tell people.’
On December 16, Trump said at a press conference that ‘the government knows what is happening regarding the drones.
‘Look, our military knows where they took off from – if it’s a garage they can go right into that garage – they know where it came from and where it went.
‘And for some reason, they don’t want to comment. And I think they’d be better off saying what it is.’
At one point during the Tuesday podcast, Rogan speculated that Trump has not been entertaining the UFO theories because he is ‘constantly doing something’ and has ‘no time for f***ing aliens’ or ‘nonsense.’
He also believes that Trump does not have all of the information about the drone situation to release to the public.
Fox, who filmed the UFO documentary Moment of Contact, was adamant that this was an issue of ‘national security.’
‘Why wouldn’t he tell us?’ he asked Rogan about Trump.
‘I don’t think he knows yet,’ Rogan replied, adding that things may become more clear when Trump takes office.
The pair agreed that Biden has not been clear or open about the existence of UFOs or extraterrestrial life – with Rogan urging him to ‘release the hounds’ before his presidential term ends.
‘He’s been so dismissive of it all. Obama said a lot more about it,’ Fox added.
When Trump appeared on Rogan’s podcast before the election, he thoroughly discussed his understanding of UFOs.
He said that ‘people coming from space’ were never of particular interest to him until he spokes with pilots who claimed they saw UFOS over the US.
‘I interviewed a few people, it’s never been my thing, I have to be honest. I have never been a believer,’ Trump said.
‘So I interviewed jet pilots that say they saw something. If you saw them you’d love to have them [on your show]…that were solid people, perfect, great pilots, everything.
