Around 40,000 fighters from Iraq, Yemen, and Syria have reportedly arrived in the Golan Heights, preparing to confront Israel, according to recent reports.

The Israeli army is monitoring the situation closely, with Al Jazeera citing Haaretz’s report that these forces are awaiting orders from Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

Israeli security officials voiced concern about the growing threat, noting that while these fighters may not be elite, their presence is significant.

A senior Israeli official emphasized that Israel will take steps in Syria to send a clear message to President Bashar al-Assad that these forces are unacceptable.

The situation comes amidst escalating violence, with ongoing rocket and aerial exchanges between Hezbollah and the Israeli army for three consecutive days.

Tensions were further fueled by the detonation of explosives in southern Beirut, an incident attributed to Israeli forces.
