A theme park enthusiast who recently visited Six Flags Over Georgia was blown away by the park’s food prices on his TikTok channel.
Jarred Sanders, who goes by @deezyrides, was visiting the Atlanta park when he decided to visit Piedmont Primo’s Pizzeria for a slice of pizza.
But on arrival, he discovered that a slice of cheese pizza reportedly cost $16.99 while a slice of pepperoni pizza cost $17.99. Sanders who was left in complete shock went on to call the prices ‘diabolical’. ‘Yo, I am starving right now but $17 for a slice of cheese pizza is absolutely diabolical.’
The plain pizza slice comes with the customer’s choice of chips, a side salad, or garlic knots per the sign – but it also comes with an added charge on top of the already exorbitant $16.99 price tag.
‘There’s a $1.30 surge charge? What are they doing?’ The video, which was uploaded less than a day ago and has already raked in nearly 215,000 views, has left other TikTokers enraged and puzzled.
One seasoned visitor noted: ‘Six flags food prices are crazy. They make Disney food prices look reasonable.’ While another joked: ‘I’m just going home to eat and comeback.’
Some viewers also went on to compare and marvel at the price of Costco’s dining hall food. ‘Can get an entire large pizza and drinks at Costco for that,’ one noted.
While another quipped: ‘Nah that’s wild id be getting a bigger slice at Costco for more than half of that price.’ One very observant viewer also noted: ‘A bag of chips for $6.49.’
But Sanders is not the only visitor to notice the park’s absurd pricing. Another TikToker who visited the Georgia park this March reviewed the taste and price of various items across restaurants.
Steve Cha, a popular food vlogger, said that this was first time to Six Flags in 15 years and that he was absolutely ‘disgusted’ at how expensive the items were.
He noted that a burger meal from Big Belly Burger that ‘wasn’t even that good’ cost him $18.50. Later on Cha went on to tell his viewers that a churro cost him $7 and a soft serve was priced at an astonishing $9.
In the end, he said that his $19 strawberry funnel cake was the only thing worth the price and recommended future visitors to bring ‘lots of money’ with them.
The shocking revelation comes as park enthusiasts are already reeling from the news of a massive park ticket price increase by Disney.
