Anti-Israel protesters at George Washington University draped a statue of the first American president with a keffiyeh, a scarf that has come to symbolize Palestinian solidarity.
According to Fox News, The statue of the school’s namesake was seen with the scarf around Washington’s neck and a Palestinian flag on his back.
The university suspended at least seven student protesters last week who organized an anti-Israel encampment on campus and refused to leave after days of demonstrations.
