Thousands more high school students walked out of classrooms in Dearborn, Michigan Friday to protest Israel’s response to last week’s Hamas terrorist attack.

“Free, free Palestine!” they chanted, according to Detroit News reporter Jakkar Aimery, along with, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” and “Allahu Akbar.”

Hundreds of students walked out of Fordson High School Thursday. “We’re all united. We’re all for Palestine, and that we can all support without the fear of getting in trouble,” a student told WXYZ.

“We can’t stay silent. We cannot stay silent about what’s going on in Palestine,” another said. Videos showed students chanting, “Biden, Biden, you can’t hide, you signed off on genocide.”

The Detroit News reported nearly 400 students took part. School administrators didn’t seem to care about the defiant act. “They exercised their First Amendment rights, exited the school and walked around the building and came back in for second and third hour,” district spokesman David Mustonen told the News. “There were no issues. The students were outstanding and very well behaved and very respectful. They all returned to class.”
