Hamas violence in Israel has been described as “worse than ISIS” as images shared online show a purported beheading of an Israeli Defense Force soldiers.

This comes as the death toll is estimated to be over 700 following Hamas’ brutal assault in southern Israel. Hamas terrorists have been seen piling up the bodies of 260 young ravers at a horrific massacre at a music festival, after which disturbing footage of a murdered woman’s body being paraded semi-naked through the street on the back of a truck emerged.

Users on X have been left shocked as the horrifying images of Hamas terrorist violence, which so far has seen nine Americans in Israel confirmed dead, were shared on the platform.

In a statement, Mossad said: “Hamas has released footage of them beheading captured soldiers. We will not share it, but the world needs to know their depravity exceeds that of ISIS. And we have been telling you all for years. May the precious souls of our men and women be in our hearts forever.”

In response to the attacks Israel has ordered a “complete siege of Gaza”. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Israeli TV: “We are fighting barbarians and will respond accordingly.”

He added: “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed.” Israeli soldier Lt. Col. Richard Hecht has described the events in the region as “our 9/11”.

Hecht said: “In a way, this is our 9/11, and you know even more than that, it wasn’t crashing into a building, it’s also mutilating, attacking a party that was happening around the Gaza Strip.”

Journalist Jake Wallis Simons added: “Hamas are not ‘fighters’ or ‘militants’. In fact, looking at videos of their crimes, the term ‘terrorists’ doesn’t even cover it today. They are savages, animals, butchers. Depraved, sordid and beneath contempt. Wake up world!”

Eden Ankri, an Israeli American living in the US, told 6ABC Action News: “You remember 9/11, a terrorist attack that people would forever remember.

“That’s how I feel about what happened yesterday. We’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve seen people and women my age being kidnapped and raped and people being decapitated.”

Hamas has said it will execute an Israeli hostage in response to any new Gaza Strip bombings that come without a pre-warning – moments after a senior figure from the group told Sky News civilian captives would be treated “humanely”.

Doctor Basem Naim, Hamas’s head of political and international relations, made his comments to Sky’s Mark Austin before rescue workers said at least 100 bodies were recovered from Be’eri, a community in southern Israel that was seized by militants from the group.

Dr Naim had claimed that the group has not “killed any civilians” since its militants crossed the border from the Gaza Strip and launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday.

Asked how many hostages the militant group had taken and brought into the Strip, Dr Naim said he couldn’t confirm an exact number, but said they would be treated in a “humane way, a proper way”.

He said he could “100% guarantee” they will be safe and orders have been given to fighters to not kill or harm elderly people, women or children.

However, moments later another Hamas official said it would begin executing Israeli civilian captives in return for any Israeli bombing of civilian houses in the Gaza Strip without warning. Sky News understands Qatar is mediating between sides for an exchange of civilian hostages, including women and children.
