A second ABC news producer has died suddenly and unexpectedly of respiratory failure this week. And folks all over social media are launching conspiracy theories over her death. Media Take Out confirmed that over the weekend, Erica Gonzalez, a 28-year-old otherwise healthy morning show producer, passed away on Friday.

Erica was a proud mother to her son, Brandon; who is an honor roll student in high school. One of her best days was when he graduated in April. The two shared a passion for Padres Baseball, attending many games at Petco amongst the Friar Faithful. One of her favorite players was Mister Padre Tony Gwynn. She also loved San Diego Chargers legend Junior Seau.

Dax Tejera, another ABC producer, died on Dec. 24. His death was announced by division president Kim Godwin, who noted his “energy, passion and love” for his work. He joined ABC News in 2017 as a senior producer. He went on to helm “This Week” in early 2020. Previously, he executive produced “America With Jorge Ramos.”

Social media is currently filled with all types of conspiracy theories that link the deaths of the two producers. Media Take Out has seen the different theories, and as you can imagine, they are all pretty crazy. To date there is no evidence of ANY link between the deaths of the two producers. (SOURCE)
