(OPINION) A young college student reading the Bible was attacked by transgender activists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. One member of the mob grabbed and shredded the young man’s Bible, then ate the pages. Others surrounded him with megaphones shouting profane hate at the young Christian.

Young America’s Foundation was there and filmed the violence as some 400 other people gathered in an auditorium to watch the “What is a Woman?” documentary. Among those triggered by the event was a teaching assistant university’s gender and women’s studies department. Jesikah Leeper was caught tearing down flyers promoting the event.
YAF is calling on the university to investigate and punish the taxpayer-funded worker. “If the university is committed to free speech, justice, and unbiased enforcement of university policies, the university must take immediate action to investigate Ms. Leeper,” Victor Bernson, the Foundation’s vice president, and general counsel, wrote in the demand letter. Matt Walsh condemned the attacks and called out university administrators who accused him of harming the transgender community.

“I would like to just say to the UW administration — you should be ashamed of yourselves, you disgraceful self-debasing cowards,” Walsh said. “And you spineless, gutless clowns owe me an apology.” There’s an effort afoot to erase gender in this nation.
