(ETH) – Vladamir Putin has just successfully tested a new interceptor rocket capable of destroying US space missiles according to a new chilling report. A video was released that showed the apparent launch of this anti-ballistic missile (ABM) defense system at the Sary Shagan test site in Kazakhstan.

According to details of the report from TheSun, The system was specifically designed to protect against attacks from ballistic missiles which are usually fired into a high sub-orbital spaceflight before re-entering the Earth’s atmosphere. According to Major General Sergei Grabchuk, the new rocket is capable of traveling at a speed of over three km per second – which is more than four times faster than a bullet from an AK47.

The Major went further to state: “The ABM system’s new interceptor missile reliably proved its inherent characteristics while the combat teams successfully accomplished the task, striking a mock target with the required accuracy.”  Moscow also revealed footage showing “storm of steel” drills in the Saratov region where several new anti-tank missiles were deployed.

The 631st Saratov center is paired with another in the Astrakhan region, which specializes in training for the Smerch, Tornado-S, and Iskander missile systems said the report. Meanwhile, Russia’s troop pullout is underway but is being closely monitored by the West after a strong weekend warning from the head of MI6 Richard Moore that concerns remain over Putin’s intentions in Ukraine.

He said: “The Russians are in absolutely no doubt of where the UK stands on this issue.  “And they are in absolutely no doubt of where the Biden administration stands on this issue because channels are open.”
