(ETH) – A monster size bat in the Philippines that was recently photographed has horrified people on social media after going viral. According to Daily Star, The photo of the massive golden-crowned flying fox has now attracted a whopping 300,000 likes on Twitter.
The terrifying beast that has a 1.7m wingspan typically feasts on fruit rather than flesh but that didn’t stop users and commenters to cringe in fear with some even saying it resembled a demon. One commenter stated under the photo: “Holy mother.
It’s Batman the size of a man.” Another confessed he would “leave the country” if he lived alongside the giant bats. He continued: “This bat is taller than me and I’m both horrified and impressed in equal measure.”
