DEVELOPING: (ETH) – We are receiving reports of a soldier that has gone on a mass shooting rampage in a city in Thailand while streaming the massacre LIVE on Facebook, leaving at least 17 people dead. According to reports, The deranged military officer opened fire in Nakhon Ratchasima – also known as Korat – in north-eastern Thailand.

He reportedly first killed his commander and two others at a military base before storming the Terminal 21 shopping mall in the city. Multiple civilians have been gun down at the mall, including a police officer, child, taxi driver, and a student.  The suspect is now confined on the fourth floor of the mall where he has taken 16 hostages. Armed special forces are preparing to storm the building.
