The BBC’s religious output is too Christian, an internal review by the Corporation has concluded, opening the way for more programmes on other faiths. A report by Aaqil Ahmed, the BBC’s head of religion and ethics, has suggested Muslim, Hindu and Sikh faiths should get more airtime.

This is still by and large a christian country. If I went to a Muslim country could I have a Christian service there. NO
Islam is a misogynistic and homophobic religion, and we now have equality in Britain – unlike Islamic countries. Why would the British Broadcasting Corporation wish to turn the clock back more than 100 years, to a time when women were second class citizens, and homosexuality was illegal?
So are you gonna put religious movies on mainstream channels at Easter and Xmas????? Stop pandering to non nationals and Camerons orders.
Shall we, dear BRITISH Broadcasting Service, start with a daily CHRISTIAN service for all?
There’s a reason for it, Britain is a Christian country. I don’t see why we have to cater for every whim. If Muslims want a Muslim way of life go live in a Muslim country not a CHRISTIAN one
If you broadcast Muslim worship programmes on Friday, then you must also treat the other religions the same, ie Jewish, Greek Orthodox, etc. The reason for Church of England services on radio and TV is because the Queen is the head of the Church of England and it is the accepted religion of Great Britain.
Why! When there’s enough religious channels already….So this is what the cost of a licence is going on…..
