ISLA VISTA, Calif.
(KABC) — The alleged gunman who killed six people and died in a mass drive-by shooting in Isla Vista has been identified as 22-year-old Elliot Rodger by an attorney representing his father.  Peter Rodger, an assistant director on “The Hunger Games”, confirmed through his attorney, Alan Schifman, that his son was the gunman Saturday morning. Schifman says that the family has not yet seen his body, but they have been told their son was killed and believe he killed six people. At least seven others were wounded in the drive-by shootings. The injured were being treated at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for gunshot wounds and traumatic injuries, including at least one person who underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries. More
