(By Kelly Mcdonald Jr) In the end times, there are several references to the temple of God. Jesus mentioned that the abomination that makes desolate would be made in the temple (Matt. 24:15). The desecration of the temple is the halfway point of Daniel’s 70th week (Dan. 9:27). Paul said the man of lawlessness would proclaim himself as God in the temple (2 Thess. 2:4). Of course, there is a small problem. Presently, there is no temple! This means that the third temple will have to be

completely or partially rebuilt for these prophecies to come to pass. This is why so many articles relating to the temple are posted here on Charisma News. It is an essential event to end-times prophecy.  Most articles on this subject focus on the temple being rebuilt on the site we presently call the Temple Mount.
