Fighter jet shoots down 'UFO' that triggered radar alert

AN airforce fighter jet has shot down a UFO after picking it up on their radar. Officials from the Indian military announced it had brought down an ‘unidentified balloon-shaped’ object over Barmer, Rajistan. An Indian Air Force Su-30 MKI fighter jet intercepted the UFO after an alert was triggered.

An IAF spokesman said: “Between 10.30 and 11 am an unidentified balloon-shaped object was picked up by the Indian Air Force (IAF) radar. “An IAF fighter was launched, which intercepted the object and brought it down. “Materials have been retrieved and further investigation is ongoing.” Some have suggested the object could be a weather balloon from India or Pakistan, but the IFA are yet to identify it.
