New York Rats carrying Bubonic PlagueAn alarming report from the Telegraph is reporting that Rats in New York City could potentially be carrying the bubonic plague. This comes as Scientists studying rats in New York found the flea that carries the plague – the Oriental rat flea – hosting on some of the city’s rat population, This comes from a report according to the study published Monday in the Journal of Medical Entomology. Yes the Bubonic plague still exists and isn’t something that only existed in the Dark Ages!  The Bubonic Plague is infamous as one of the most devastating pandemics in world history, known as the Black Death.
